Boracay Regency is considered by many to be the most luxurious and most expensive hotel in Boracay. It has the longest sea front and can accommodate large crowds. The only time I was able to visit here, was when I was sent for a seminar. Ofcourse I only had a standard room and I didn’t have a lanais that overlooked the beach. Still the room was very cozy with local furniture and made me feel like I was living like a queen. It was airconditioned but I didn’t really need it since the seminar was held during the rainy season. I did make use of the hot water because it was really cold during that time. Although it was raining, I was able to walk down the white sandy beaches and even dip in the water. The seminar lasted for 2 days, but I stayed a day longer for a break. I met a couple of people who stayed with me and we made use of the pool and gym. The gym was really well equipped and had expensive equipment that I only see on TV. On our departure day, the sun shone but we were already on our way home. The hotel also offers banana boats ride, where a new friend fell and broke her wrist. The hotel doctor looked at it, and she was sent to the hospital for an x-ray and cast. The hotel paid for everything because it was their fault in the first place. We wanted to go island hopping but the staff said it would be too dangerous since the waves were too high. There are so many things you can do in Boracay like water skiing, jet skis, sailing and snorkeling. Too bad I didn’t have time to experience all of it during my short visit. Rating: 10
