Hello from California, USA. I was born here and love this beautiful state, even with its current problems. I'm a California gal, through and through.

My online nickname is Orrymain. Patrick Swayze fans might recognize it from the mini-series North and South, which is my favorite mini-series and will always be my sentimental favorite role of Patrick's. When I purchased my first computer many years ago and began to go online, even before the internet was active like it is today, I had to create a nickname and Orrymain just felt appropriate.

My passion is my girls, and they are my dogs. I'm a huge animal lover with a special fondness for dogs. I've had some really wonderful pets in my lifetime, and I still miss the ones who have moved on to Rainbow Bridge. Right now, though, I have two beautiful dogs who keep me smiling and full of joy.

I also have a life-long enjoyment of the entertainment industry. It's something I've grown up with. I've been fortunate to have met some really wonderful well-known celebrities, and those are treasured times I remember fondly.

Writing is something I also enjoy. I've written both in journalistic and creative styles. I love doing reviews here in large part because it's opinion based. I like that I really don't need to explain things per se, but can mostly just share my opinion, good or bad, about movies, shows, products, places I've traveled, and just about everything else. It's been fun and it's given me a chance to earn a few extra dollars in the process.
